Planet 105 is a Swiss youth radio. It transmits since 1998 in the cable network of the whole German-speaking part of Switzerland, it was founded under the name Radio 105. The transmitter is considered as the first language-regional youth radio of Switzerland . Since September 9, 2009, Planet 105 can also be received via VHF in the Zurich region and will be moderated almost throughout the week on weekdays. Until this date, the station was located in Muttenz . For this reason, "Radio 105" applies only conditionally as a voice regional youth radio, because by the VHF license for the coverage area 25 (City of Zurich) has the transmitter of the Federal Office of Communicationsreceive an explicit performance mandate for the city of Zurich.
