Presse Ocean is a French regional newspaper headquartered in 15 Deshoulières street in Nantes in Loire-Atlantique . Far-heir to The Friend of the Charter , founded in 1819, through The National of the West (1837-1851) and The Lighthouse of the Loire (1852-1944), then The Resistance of the West (1944-1960) ), it is considered as the historical daily of the Nantais. But, faced with serious difficulties, it became in 2005 an element of the West-France group . It is published in four editions in the department of Loire-Atlantique, Nantes and Saint-Nazaireespecially. Two other editions, published in Vendée under the name Vendée-Matin , disappeared in June 2008.
