Radio 3FACH is a non-commercial local radio station in Lucerne and a member of the Union of non-commercial local radio stations. The idea for a non-commercial youth radio was born in 1992 among students of the cantonal school Alpenquai Lucerne . For the first time in a month, in 1994, the driving force behind the project was Attila Revesz. The final license was awarded to Radio 3FACH in February 1998. Since October 17, 1998, it has been broadcast on a full program. Above all, Radio 3FACH plays music that should appeal to people between the ages of 13 and 30 years. Unlike commercial radio stations also much alternative rock , electronica and hip-hop. In addition there are discussions, interviews and information especially from the region. The radio attaches particular importance to the promotion of local and national music bands and to the rest of the cultural work of the Lucerne region. Every evening there are music specials on different genres in the program.
