Radio AGORA 105.5 is the only non-commercial radio station in Carinthia. The program is ad-free and one-, two- and multi-lingual and is in the context of the open access by interested free radio producers from all age groups and social groups produced and designed. For the Slovenian people there is a twelve-hour program in Slovenian during the day. Eight hours of daily broadcasting rail designed the Slovenian editorial office of the ORF regional studio Carinthia and four hours sends radio AGORA 105.5 a SloveneModerated program designed by both editorial staff and freelance radio makers. In order to promote mutual interest and understanding of the culture and language between the two population groups, radio AGORA 105.5 also regularly broadcasts broadcasts and especially live broadcasts in the evening in Slovene and German. From 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the program is designed in one, two or more languages by independent radio producers. The abbreviation AGORA stands for both "open radio community" and "avtonomno gibanje odprtega radia". At the same time, it is a reference to the Greek word agoraWhich the central meeting and market place in ancient Greece called. Carrier of the Radio is a non-profit organization founded in 1989. The full team name is "AGORA Association Association Open Radio / Avtonomno gibanje odprtega radia" (ZVR 224485150), is sent under the name "radio AGORA 105.5".
