Ràdio Girona is a Catalan radio station founded on December 10 , 1933 in Girona, and which depends on the SER Chain . Since 2011 its frequency is 98.5 FM / 1008 OM. Initially it emitted from Carrer Carreras Peralta, but then moved to Carrer de la Força and was linked to Ràdio Associació de Catalunya . It had a certain echo during the period of the Second Spanish Republic, when the speakers Francina Boris and Codina worked (before moving to Ràdio Associació de Catalunya ), Joaquim Carreras (dead in the front during the Spanish Civil War ) and Enric Casademont Aymerich , creator of the character Pau Pi , and where he also made some talks Carles Rahola . During the Spanish Civil War, Maria Tersa and Miralles were charged with the issues, using the study as a refuge.
