Radio Rottu Oberwallis (rro) is a private radio station in the region of Upper Valais ( Switzerland ). He went on 11 November 1990 for the first time on the air. The station is a format radio and plays primarily hits and songs of local Oberwallis performers. The name derives from the central Valais river, the Rhone , which means German Rotten and Valais German Rottu. The radio studio is located in Hofji in Visp. One outdoor studio each is stationed in the Stockalperschloss in Brig and in the rro studio Barrique in Eyholz. The share capital of Radio Rottu Oberwallis AG is broken down as follows: Valaiscom AG ( Quickline Group) 25.22%, Mengis Druck & Verlag AG ( Walliser Bote ) 25.6% and individual shareholders 49.18%.
