Radio Top (own spelling RADIO TOP ) is a Swiss radio station, which is produced in Winterthur. On January 1, 1984, the broadcasting ( VHF ) of Radio Eulach begins in the Winterthur region. In the same year, radio stations in Wil SG and in Toggenburg Radio Wil and in the canton of Thurgau Radio Thurgau are also connected. Through a merger of Radio Eulach, Radio Wil and Radio Thurgau Radio Top was created and this went on January 1, 1998 for the first time on the air. Radio Eulach, the largest radio of the three, took over 50% of Radio Top's share, while Wil and Thurgau each got 25%. Also Radio Eulach CEO Günter Heuberger took over the same function at Radio Top. The name is Günter Heuberger, himself a Flugzeugfan, which claims the nickname "Megatop" for the Boeing 747-400 of Singapore Airlines loan. In December 2004, broadcasting will be extended to large parts of the canton of St. Gallen. Radio Top broadcasts program windows for the cantons of Zurich , Thurgau and St. Gallen. Since January 2005 Radio Top is also to be received in the Schaffhausen region.
