The history of Radio Viborg started gradually over 30 years ago. The radio officially began to send on March 21, 1984. A Wednesday. And from the start, it was clear that Radio Viborg was not "quite like the others".Throughout the 90's, Radio Viborg has a very distinct radio station with impressive high listening rates. And to this day, the station is the largest local radio in Midtjylland. Over the years, hundreds of people have been either volunteer or paid employee at Radio Viborg. Some of them still work in the media industry - at other radio stations, or, for example, with television.Radio Viborg is today a modern, professional radio station with 7 full-time employees and a range of freelancers - such as our Streeteam and the radio watches you can hear this weekend.They ship around the clock, all year round. The majority of our listening is still on the "good old" FM signal, but more and more are listening to via the network radio and the Radio Viborg app. In addition, we also send DAB + in parts of Midtjylland.
