RandKrant is a free monthly magazine about the Flemish Rand around Brussels. It brings together news and social, political, socio-economic reports and interviews with well-known and lesser-known inhabitants. It contains an extensive culture section, a culture agenda and short translations in French, English, and German.
RandKrant appeared on 188,000 copies and was posted in all mailboxes of the nineteen municipalities of the Rand. From 2015 RandKrant own conservation measures will be published nine times a year (not in January, July, and August). The numbers are divided into one bus in one half of the Rand bus, the next month in the other half. Every edition of RandKrant can be read digitally and can be found at distribution points in the region.
RandKrant is a publication of the Flemish Community and the province of Flemish Brabant. The realization is done by vzw 'de Rand'. UiT in the Rand is realized with the financial support of the Flemish Brabant province and the Flemish Community.
The chief editor of RandKrant is the editorial responsibility. He exercises all activities for the magazine and the website independently. This is done within the framework of an editorial profile.
