Safari was launched in 2010 from its headquarters in the city of Riyadh as the first Arab media site dedicated to travel entirely dedicated to covering tourism, aviation and hotel news in the Arabic language, according to an ambitious vision to be the first source of tourism news on the Internet for both the Arab media and the last user in the Arab world . The site was one of the first news sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to obtain a media license from the Ministry of Culture and Information in 2013 AD with number (WS 1428).
