Skövde News (1907-1915 Billingen , 1915-1958 Skaraborgs Tidningen ) was a newspaper published in Skövde in the years 1907 - 2007 . The political tendency was usually stated as liberal , liberal or people- politicaluntil 2000 , when it became bourgeois. The magazine had a circulation of around 3,000 copies until the beginning of the 1960s, when it rose sharply and was around 10,000 until the 1990s, after which it fell to about 3,000 at the close of 2007. The rate of release was twice a week until 1915 , after which it became the three-day newspaper until 1969, except for a period of six-day publishing 1918 - 1921. In 1969, the release was increased to five days a week and 1978 to six days a week. Among its editors are Professor Natanael Beckman (1907), Parliamentarian Gustaf Sjöberg (1907-1908) and Peter Österdahl (1929-1974). After the closure as a daily newspaper, a free newspaper (2008-2011), distributed to all households once a month, was published under the name SN magazine. At the beginning of 2011, the rate of increase was increased once a week and the name Skövde Nyheter was withdrawn. In November 2011, the free news site Skovdenyheter.se was also launched. Skövde News is owned by the Herenco Group, where it is part of Hall Media and Västgöta-Tidningar, which also publishes Falköping Newspaper, Västgöta-Bladet and Skaraborg Läns Tidning.
