Socialmedicinsk Tidskrift ( SMT ) is a journal of multidisciplinary research and a broad subject area in the intersection of social services, social security, social policy, public health, and healthcare. The purpose of publishing social media magazine has changed somewhat over the years, although the main focus was the same, offering a forum for highlighting scientific results in and discussions on social, health and public health issues.Every year, six numbers of SMT are published. The magazine is published in Swedish, although some of the articles in the different themes have been written in other languages like Danish, Norwegian and English. The reading circle consists of a mix of public, private and public organizations and institutions, students and subject experts both in Sweden and in the rest of the Nordic countries.
