Speedweek was originally a weekly Motorsport magazine based in Uster, Switzerland.Speedweek was founded in 2008 by the former editor-in-chief of Motorsport Aktuell, the Austrian Günther Wiesinger. The motorsports magazine was published by Red BulletinSchweiz AG, a subsidiary of the Red Bull Media House. In addition to the function of editor-in-chief, Günther Wiesinger also held the management of the company.The first issue was published in November of the same year with just over 80 pages. Initially printed on newsprint, the magazine was produced from summer 2009 in headset printing on glossy paper.On November 27, 2012, the last printed edition of Speedweek was released. Since that time, the reporting is done exclusively on the website www.speedweek.com.
