The Suwannee Democrat was established in 1884. Jeff Masters is the Publisher, Monja Slater is the General Manager and Jamie Wachter is the Editor. Masters, Slater and Wachter are joined by community members Jim Holmes, Bruce Kemmerer and Otha White Sr. on the newspaper's Editorial Board.
