Swatantra Bharat is one of the oldest and the most prestigious Hindi Daily of Uttar Pradesh including Uttrrakhand and bordering areas of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Nepal. It was launched the day our country got independence on August 15, 1947, hence the name 'Swatantra Bharat'. This is the only newspaper to get a Postage Stamp issued by the Department of Post and Telegraph, Govt. of India on its Golden Jubilee Celebration.
