The Bannu Times is an online newspaper started by Pakistani columnist Farman Nawaz. The Bannu Times highlights the image of Pakistan by monitoring the pro and anti Pakistan news and views from the media of four neighboring countries of Pakistan namely India, China, Afghanistan and Iran as well as the Indian-controlled Kashmir. Pakistani columnist Farman Nawaz previously ran an Urdu Weekly Jirga Bannu. He is the editor of The Bannu Times. Nawaz has written English articles for Global Times China, Daily Outlook Afghanistan and several leading English newspapers of Pakistan. He had also worked as a blogger for Express News TV Network website. Nawaz also runs a local bilingual online newspaper The Border Times.
