The Oregonian is a daily newspaper that was founded December 4, 1850. It is the oldest continuously published newspaper on the U.S. west coast. It serves the Portland, Oregon area and owned by Advance Publications, a media company owned by the descendants of S.I. Newhouse. The newspaper is the best coverage of Portland and Oregon news, events and entertainment.
