Tidningen FORSKNING is a news site about Swedish research and development in science and technology.Content ranges from basic research to innovation - refers to all those directly involved in research and development, but also to students, teachers, officials, decision-makers and opinion makers, and seriously interested individuals - is completely independent and unobtrusive but has a qualified network of contacts within Swedish research.  The site is published by the newspaper Tidningen RESSKNING AB, which previously was the publisher of the printed popular science magazine RESEARCH between 1985 and 2012. The main owner and editor have since been Lars Alvegård, former information director at the Chalmers University of Technology and with more than 40 years of experience in research information. Operations are now largely ideal.
