Trelleborgs Allehanda is a local newspaper for Trelleborg and Vellinge municipalities. The newspaper is published in paper form Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and is part of the Gota Media. The first issue was published on October 4, 1876, and originally consisted of four pages, and was therefore called the "propeller" in folkmun and only appeared two days a week. The newspaper's first editor between 1876 and 1881 was Fritjof Björling . Since July 2001 it is also on the internet. Since 2003, the magazine has distributed Trelleborgs Allehandas cultural award annually.
