The Sun is a weekly, community newspaper with 1,700 paid subscribers.  The newspaper is independently owned and published weekly by Sybil and Mike Conley.

The Sun has been in business in western Clinton County since 1880, and remains the market leaders for news and information about Trenton and New Baden, Illinois and the Wesclin School District.
