The Upper Rogue Independent is a newspaper serving the residents of Upper Rogue Region in Oregon. It is published every Tuesday. The newspaper was founded on January 22, 1976. The Upper Rogue Independent has been serving residents of the seven Upper Rogue communities as a reliable source of information since 1976. Knowledge and interest in the area are extensive with all employees residents of the circulation area. The newspaper was begun by Mark Flint because he saw the need to focus on communication in the Upper Rogue area.
