Dubai Design Week 2022

Dubai Design Week, in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), returns for its eighth season, 8-13 November 2022 – providing individuals and companies with a platform to express design by ways of installations, exhibitions and overall experiential mediums. The annual event is one of the region’s most significant cultural occasions, with a line-up of programming, demonstrating Dubai’s commitment to design. Held in the regional hub for design and creativity - d3 - Dubai Design Week looks at the impact of the ever-changing design landscape.

Exhibitions

At this year’s festival visitors can discover a series of exhibitions that explore design at the junction of technology, craft, architecture and academia. Exhibitions will include:

- UAE Designer Exhibition curated showcase of regional talent in the UAE Designer Exhibition
- d3 Architectural Exhibition – structures that express sustainability by ways of building materials
- Stone & Shamal
– a showcase by Polimoda, the first university to be a UN ambassador for sustainability

Downtown Design

The headline commercial event of Dubai Design Week, Downtown Design will take place 9-12 November, at the Waterfront Terrace at d3. It is the region’s destination for contemporary design, attracting leading design professionals and industry decision-makers from the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and beyond, alongside top-tier public visitors. For those are looking for engaging panel discussions and opportunities to interact with other design professionals, The Forum at Downtown Design will host leading international and regional experts within the design industry to discuss the latest trends and innovations in regional and international design.
