This year’s conference aims to explore new and novel ways of storytelling that are emerging in the world of media and communication at large.

The Manipal International Media Research Conference is an initiative by the School of Media and Communication (SOMC), MAHE, Dubai. Since 2014, the School has been establishing its research credibility by facilitating a platform and creating a scientific research environment. However, the event has been renamed to ‘Manipal International Media Research Conference’ at present.

The Manipal International Media Research Conference explores a repertoire of themes pertaining to media and communication in the global context with an impressive lineup of international speakers, in conjunction with contributions from industry experts and aspiring media professionals. The 5TH Manipal International Media Research Conference, to be held on April 10, 2018, delves into the theme of “Emerging trends in Storytelling”
