Key Responsibilities

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of team with an emphasis on retaining and expanding current client business. You will be overseeing all client budgets (creating, expanding, forecasting, etc.) and ensuring that revenue and account profitability and staff utilization for each client is reached on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for the supervision of all subordinates, assists line managers on new business efforts and will have an established specialty or practice niche and strong, senior contacts in the media.

This is an opportunity for someone who is based in Sharjah and is well versed with the local market. Preference will be given to those who can join immediately.

Responsibilities :

Supervise several or multiple accounts including client needs, staffing, strategy and budgeting
Be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships
Assume creative and strategic direction and oversight on all account assignments
Have regular client contact to ensure the client is satisfied with account activity
Be proactive with clients to address any issues of dissatisfaction
Delegate client assignments, supervises others and works with other offices
Assists line managers in executing client satisfaction programs
Manages and reviews key client deliverables (i.e. messaging, branding, executive coaching, communications/marketing plans, strategy documents)
Sells value-added services to current clients
Draw on integrated teams and AM regional colleagues to develop and serve clients
Position the firm and other colleagues with clients in ways that build a true institutional partnership
Know the tools, proprietary insights and methodologies available within AM to best serve clients without creating new ones
Reconstitute knowledge into marketable, reusable assets to develop new offerings by anticipating needs or meeting demands of current clients
Generate high value by supporting the client to undertake and enact major change
Draws out the best thinking of clients and teams to ensure pragmatic, well-executed outcomes
Have authoritative knowledge of multiple industries and business trends
Identifiy “next level” thinking/ideas for clients by tracking industry trends and activities.

Skills

Desired Skills and Experience:


The client is a prestigious Government entity so previous experience in working with local ministries is required.
Possess well-developed media industry knowledge and completely understand the whole range of our integrated services and uses the resources effectively.
Be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word, can masterfully use a computer to present ideas
Have proven experience in managing a team from a financial, client delivery and staffing perspective.

Write new business proposals proficiently in Arabic and English
Manage, retain and grow multiple accounts
Create and manage multiple budgets
Expand client business
Develop strategic communication programs
Have ability to create and manage multiple budgets, delegate multiple clients’ assignments, supervise others, work with other teams or offices
Have ability to supervise contacts with suppliers, media and other consultants
Maturity to lead independent client contact
Have Proven leadership skills
Have an established network of senior industry and media contacts
Have atleast eight to twelve years’ agency experience
