THE ROLE

Conceptual copywriter position with a strong focus on all things social.
Set in Dubai, UAE
Will be part of the team responsible for all Chevrolet social and content projects in the MENA region.
Build creative concepts around a social strategy that fits the brand. Able to come up with ideas and in some cases be actively involved in executing them.
Write engaging, thumb-stopping copy for our real time / responsive and proactive social content as well as vehicle launches, retail campaigns and always on content that will live on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and SnapChat. Experience in writing online copy across these channels is essential.
Prioritize and juggle multiple projects to a high standard. With a focus on attention to detail.
Support our Creative Director, Digital Director and wider teams to drive the brand from a social perspective.

Skills

5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent copy skills with a background in writing.
Background in social media writing and key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, SnapChat)
Excellent communication / interpersonal skills. Ideally with an active social presence themselves – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat etc.
Arabic language desirable.
Familiarity with non-social marketing channels (Web, Display, TV, Video, Cinema, Print, OOH, Experiential, etc.) and how they intersect with the interactive/social world advantageous.
Understanding of best social practices and online audience behavior.
