Mashable: Holders with golden visas are eligible to sponsor their spouses, children, and parents without any age limit.

The Abu Dhabi golden visa validity has been increased from five years to ten years for all categories, as reported by local media.

Mark Dorsey, Director of Operations at the Abu Dhabi Residents' Office, said the "Golden" visa now has a ten-year validity period and offers a variety of residency possibilities for experts and researchers in the sciences and humanities, including doctors, specialists, scientists, and inventors.

Mark Dorsey stated that the "Golden visa holder can sponsor their spouses, children, and parents without any age limit," as reported by Khaleej Times.

Over 79,000 golden visas across all categories were given in 2022, according to an announcement made on Wednesday, January 11, by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA).

The UAE government introduced the "Golden" visa in 2019, which enables foreigners to reside, work, and study there without the need for a local sponsor and with full ownership of their business on the U.A.E. mainland.

After completing the requirements for the golden visa, the holder is entitled to exclusive benefits such as a 5-10 year renewable resident visa and a six-month multiple-entry visa.

Holders of a golden visa are also permitted to stay longer than six months outside the U.A.E. and can apply for residency visas for their spouses and children.

The golden visa is open to investors, entrepreneurs, scholars, students, notable alumni, pioneers in humanitarian work, and front-line heroes.
