ABU DHABI // Abu Dhabi Media has announced the launch of a new service for social networks.

The service, called "ambassadors of social networking", is in line with the growth of digital media in the media sector in the region, and will strengthen the online presence of Abu Dhabi Media on social media networks.

The service will provide information through new and innovative channels to highlight the various initiatives and special events launched by Abu Dhabi Media and its clients.

It will feature 30 Abu Dhabi Media employees who are influential figures on social media and have a strong presence online, under the slogan and hashtag "UAE Buzz".

The launch of the new media service will be announced as part of Abu Dhabi Media’s participation in the Pioneers of Social Networking event in Dubai on Tuesday.

This initiative complements others by ADM, which aims to have more than 50 million followers by 2020. 

HE Mohamed Ebrahim Al Mahmood, chairman of Abu Dhabi Media, said: "Through this initiative, Abu Dhabi Media will strengthen its online presence across digital media, and provide a platform to serve its brands with an access to a wider audience."
