Star Wars fans get excited! C-3PO is headed to the Middle East.
The man behind the golden droid is set to join the 2023 Middle East Film and Comic Con.
This year’s Middle East Film and Comic Con is set to host Anthony Daniels who is best known to play Star Wars C-3PO.
English actor and mime artist Anthony Daniels, who bought Star Wars C-3PO to life will join a host of A-list celebrities at the Middle East Film and Comic Con which is set to take place in Abu Dhabi.
Middle East Film and Comic Con is the region’s largest Pop Culture Festival and is scheduled to take place between March 3 to March 5, 2023.
The MEFCC took to its official Instagram account and shared the announcement.
According to the announcement post, Anthony Daniels will make a special appearance at the three day event which will also see recently announced comic book artists Ken Lashley and Ryan Ottley.
The 76-year-old actor has starred in all nine of the Star Wars films, along with the franchise’s spin-offs.
The star-studded line-up heading to the capital includes comic book artist Ken Lashley, who is known for titles including Excalibur, Black Panther, X-Men, Spiderman, Flash, JLA, and Superman, among others.
The pop culture event will also host Ryan Ottley who is known for his comic masterpieces on Marvel titles including The Amazing Spider-Man and Hulk.
House of the Dragon star Matt Smith is set to headline the event. American voice actor Christopher Sabat and Disney artists Mike and Patty Peraza will also be in attendance.
The MEFCC features workshops, meet-and-greets, talks, concerts, and competitions and brings together fans and stars for a fun-filled weekend.
