Mashable: Videos of the star reacting to Al Hilal fans have gone viral

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo recently came under fire for making an indecent gesture during the recent Al-Nassr game.

The Portugues star Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly got frustrated after his team lost an important game against Al Hilal and made a controversial gesture.

As per Arab News, the football player was called out by a Saudi lawyer to be deported over the controversial gesture he made in response to taunts from Al-Hilal fans.

The 38-year-old player is again in the news for the controversial behavior he made at an Al Nassr game last Tuesday.

Al Nassr saw a huge dent in their title hopes as the match against their arch-rivals ended in a 2-0 loss last Tuesday.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner got a split opinion in Saudi Arabia for the first time since Al-Nassr shocked the entire world by announcing his arrival at the club at the end of December last year.

As Al Nassr lost the game Ronaldo was seen leaving the field left in frustration. The player was taunted by Al Hilal fans who chanted the name of his long-time rival, Lionel Messi.

The footballer seemingly grabbed his crotch in reaction toward the blue-clad supporters after the game. The video of the gesture has been doing rounds on the internet.

The videos on social media show the football star seemingly making the indecent gesture as he furiously walked off the field.

According to the news outlet, Nouf bint Ahmed, a Saudi lawyer shared one of the viral videos on Twitter and denounced the act and insisted that the player should be penalized by the law.

As per her caption, if a foreigner commits such an act, they must be arrested and deported as this comes under public decency laws.

Al-Nassr also allegedly released an explanation saying that the player sustained an injury in the groin area after a challenge from Al Hilal’s Gustavo Cuellar.

However, the news outlet also reported that the Saudi Arabian Football Federation would not punish Cristiano Ronaldo as they found no evidence of the wrongdoing.
