Amman, Jordan – Jan 22, 2025: Following the tremendous success of the first edition of the Droidcon Conference held in Amman in January 2024, OMNES Media Group, in partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board, has announced the second edition of this leading global conference on Android app development. The event will take place in July 2025, marking it as one of the most anticipated annual tech events in the region.
The second edition of Droidcon is strategically supported by the Jordan Tourism Board to position Jordan as a leading destination for tech and business tourism. On this occasion, Dr. Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, stated that the conference represents a significant opportunity to promote Jordan as a hub for innovation, technology, and tourism. He added:
"Through our support of this event, we aim to attract more global events and strengthen Jordan's position as an ideal destination for technology and innovation."
Dr. Arabiyat emphasized that such events provide an excellent platform to foster partnerships among technology companies and institutions at the local, regional and international levels. They also contribute to creating an innovative business environment that supports the employment and skill development of young Jordanian talent, aligning with the evolving market needs.
