The Arabian Radio Network (ARN), the largest radio network in the Middle East has opened its new headquarters in Dubai Media City. The ARN has started its operations with facilities matching to world-class infrastructure including over 41 multiplatform radio, production and visual studios. ARN plans to function from Dubai Media City in a high tech platform with over 50 cameras capturing the on-air content, and entertainment for its members through social media platforms and websites.
The idea behind ARN’s new headquarters is to centralize the network into one single media hub so that all the activities including the content, marketing, sales, finance, broadcast technology and management functions can be operated and monitored from here.
Mahmoud al Rasheed, General Manager of ARN said that ARN is the source of infotainment for millions of listeners across the country with over 200 nationalities. ARN is the nation’s leading news provider, broadcasting 185 news bulletins a day. The new ARN media hub unites the Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Farsi, and Tagalog language radio newsrooms through a dedicated multilingual news hub capturing video and audio feed from all over the world and updating listeners with the latest breaking news.
ARN broadcasts 18 radio stations and 9 FM brands including Al Khaleejiya 100.9, Al Arabiya 99, Virgin Radio Dubai 104.4, Dubai 92, Dubai Eye 103.8, City 1016, Hit 96.7, Radio Shoma 93.4 and Tag 91.1.ARN is all equipped with the latest technology to grow into full swing to continue its growth in the entertainment and information sector.
