One of the oldest travel and tourism events in the Middle East –the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is back with its 28th edition that caters to the travel and tourism business.
The event, which is a leading international travel and tourism event unlocking business potential within the Middle East, is taking place from May 16 to 19, 2021 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The event hosts various tourism destinations from around the world who showcase their brand and exhibit at the display, the biggest names in accommodation and hospitality, renowned tourism attractions, innovative travel technology companies and key airline routes.
In its 28th edition, Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) will showcase unique events, projects, and initiatives designed to further accelerate tourism momentum in Dubai. Representatives from government bodies, hotels, destination management companies, and tour operators will join Dubai Tourism at the event, within a physical setting, as part of continued efforts to lead the recovery of global tourism.
Followed by the in-person event from May 16 to 19, video meetings will be taking place a week later from May 24-26 2021.
This year, the theme for the event will be ‘A New Dawn for Travel and Tourism’ which will reunite and enable a strong comeback for the travel industry.
Talking about the participation, Issam Kazim, CEO, Dubai Tourism in a statement said, “ATM will play a pivotal role in strengthening the industry in what continues to be one of the most challenging periods for global tourism. With Dubai being the host destination and as one of the longstanding official partners of the event, our participation together with a cross-section of industry representatives is fundamental to the global efforts underway in dealing with a rapidly evolving situation as well as to drive post-pandemic tourism growth.”
The Dubai Tourism stand will offer visitors a peek into Dubai’s diverse array of offerings, activities, and initiatives from its key departments including Dubai’s efforts to maintain its position as one of the safest travel destinations in the world, as well as plans for the Expo 2020 Dubai and the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Alongside Dubai Tourism at the stand, Dubai Police, Dubai Health Authority, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA–Dubai) and Dubai Municipality will also participate at the event.
