BBC Advertising has appointed Agnesia Ekayuanita as programmatic account manager for Asia in a newly created role.

She will work with the regional advertising sales team and be responsible for the company’s marketplace revenues and delivering programmatic advertising revenues across BBC Advertising’s sites in Asia.

The announcement:

In her role, which commenced in May, Ekayuanita will be responsible for programmatic revenues and sales proposition as well as ensuring the strategies have a strong alignment to the overall approach across Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, Ekayuanita will be charged with deal negotiation and closing with agencies and trading desk, working in tandem with technical teams to develop the business’s product and profile, managing inventory, planning and pricing, facilitate deal provision as well as maintaining the quality of the advertising
network.

Her appointment signals BBC Advertising’s push to deliver the right solution to clients by helping them navigate the fragmented ecosystem and evolving marketplace, ensuring that local and global clients alike have access to BBC premium inventory via programmatic pipes.

Ekayuanita joins from MediaCom Singapore where she was Senior Digital Manager for Asia Pacific, a position she held for three years. She supported key clients such as Shell and Symantec with their digital media strategies and partnerships. Prior to this role, she was an Account Strategist and Coordinator, working in performance campaign marketing with clients such as Agoda, AirAsia, Expedia, P&G and Unilever.

Ekayuanita will report to McEwan, and work closely with David Goddard, Global Head of Programmatic Trading, BBC Worldwide, and her Australia & New Zealand counterpart, Luke Fox, who is currently based in the Sydney office.
