Egypt Today: CAIRO - 28 May 2026: Cairo has been ranked fourth among the 12 most beautiful cities in the world for 2026, according to the international travel platform Civitatis, which specializes in curated tours and travel experiences.

The ranking highlighted Cairo’s exceptional historical depth, describing it as a city whose origins span thousands of years of civilization.

It noted that the presence of the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, remains one of the most powerful symbols explaining the city’s global appeal.

According to the report, Cairo offers visitors a rich mix of cultural and historical attractions. Among the most prominent is the Egyptian Museum, which houses one of the world’s most extensive collections of ancient artifacts, alongside the city’s vibrant traditional markets that reflect its enduring cultural identity. 

The platform also emphasized the popularity of leisure experiences along the Nile, particularly dinner cruises featuring dining and live entertainment, which remain among the most sought-after activities for tourists visiting the Egyptian capital.
