Mashable: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are two of the greatest football players in the world. They are always considered rivals by fans. In a recent interview with La Sexta, Ronaldo made a rare comment on his relationship with the Argentina star.
Once and for all, Ronaldo stated he 'never had a bad relationship with (Lionel) Messi.' When asked whether a soccer rivalry will exist between two players like CR7 and Messi again, Ronaldo responded, "I hope so, it would be very good for football... but I think it's unlikely."
Ronaldo and Messi are always compared to each other whether it is in terms of goals or trophies. The comparison is never-ending.
Cristiano currently plays for Al Nassr. For the uninitiated, he has scored 85 goals in 94 matches for Al Nassr since joining the Riyadh-based club. Earlier, there were rumours of him leaving the club, but he dismissed them, saying, "For me, the most important thing is to be professional, to push hard, respect the club, respect your contract, and believe that things will change - for Al Nassr to try to win more titles
On the other hand, Messi joined Inter Miami in 2023 on a contract that runs through the end of 2025.
