Impact BBDO has returned to the film noir genre with ‘Lies’, the second in an atmospheric two-part series for the fashion brand Centrepoint.
Hinged on the same existentialism as the preceding film ‘Sabotage’, the one-minute video follows a suitably well-dressed woman as she walks down an East Berlin-style street as a burning piano falls from the sky.
An American-accented voiceover reveals the tagline as the woman’s walk comes to a halt beneath the falling piano: “While there isn’t much one can do to counter all the indignities life hurls at you, the least you can do is visit the Centrepoint sale and look good.”
The campaign recently won three golds at the Cristal Festival at Courchevel, France, including in the categories of Film and Film Craft.
