And there is no doubt that Ronaldo's million-dollar post on the iconic Messi moment would go viral after the game.

For either club, it was not a game that had any significance. But the thousands who had attended the match and the millions who remained glued to their televisions on Thursday night were immensely entertained as both Ronaldo and Messi found their names on the scoresheet in what resulted in a spectacular goal fest.
