Dentsu Aegis has acquired Edinburgh-creative agency Whitespace, bolstering its operations in the north of the UK.

The 65-strong team will join Dentsu Aegis North, which has businesses across Newcastle, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester, with Whitespace set to compliment the network through its brand strategy, digital production, content and other digital expertise.

Co-founders and joint managing partners, Iain Valentine and Phillip Lockwood-Holmes, will continue to lead the business, with the current management team and all employees remaining at its headquarters in Edinburgh.

At the time of writing, the financial terms of the deal had not been disclosed.
