Mashable: Diljit Dosanjh, the greatest Punjabi artist on the planet, is finally coming to the UAE. Known for his perfect blend of hip-hop, bhangra, and Punjabi music, Dosanjh is all set to take over the Middle East with his Dil-Luminati Tour. The 40-year-old initially confirmed UAE as one of his venues via a tweet earlier in July. Now, the G.O.A.T hitmaker has finally set a November date for the concert.

On Wednesday, Dosanjh confirmed the music event is scheduled to take place at Etihad Park, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on November 9, 2024, alongside a promise to deliver an ‘unforgettable’ night. “I am beyond excited to bring the Dil-Luminati Tour to Abu Dhabi for the very first time. This is something I’ve been looking forward to, and I can’t wait to share the magic with my fans at Etihad Park. I’m ready for an unforgettable night of music and celebration because Punjabi UAE aa gaye oye!,” said the musician.

He also expressed gratitude toward the overwhelming love and support he has received from fans all across the world, “I promise to continue working hard to bring you the best music experience and create something truly special on stage. I encourage you all to bring your energy and enthusiasm because Abu Dhabi, we’re going to make this night extraordinary,” Dosanjh added.

The announcement comes after Diljit scripted history with his debut on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show, where he performed smash-hit singles G.O.A.T. and Born to Shine. The Punjabi music sensation also took his career to new heights when he captured Western audiences with his Coachella debut in April last year. It was a historic moment as Diljit became the first Punjabi language singer to bag the honour.

The global music sensation has collaborated with major international artists including Sia for Hass Hass. Additionally, Dosanjh took the internet by storm when Ed Sheeran joined him onstage in Mumbai during his Asia Tour.

Now for the ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour in UAE, the pre-registration will be live on the official Platinumlist website with the public pre-sale from Tuesday, 27 August, 12 noon UAE time. Emirates NBD will have an exclusive pre-sale for their customers on Monday, 26 August from 12 noon UAE time. The public general sale will commence on Wednesday, 28 August at 12 noon UAE time.
