The show is meant to showcase s relationship between Emirati people and nature.
Completely equipped for the future with high-speed connectivity, a smart public service infrastructure, and gadgets that enhance businesses as well as households, the Emirates are now set to celebrate 50 years of nationhood in style, thanks to innovative tech that'll be used for putting up a spectacular show. Residents in the Middle East's digital oasis are already being treated to collectible crypto tokens among other offerings to celebrate the occasion, and now the authorities are deploying drones to create a captivating experience.
In a world moving towards sustainability by doing away with air pollution using alternatives, light shows facilitated by drones are replacing fireworks in Emirati skies for smarter celebrations. To boost entertainment during the golden jubilee celebrations for the UAE early next month, the authorities are planning on using drones to launch fireworks, while a floating lake with a stage in the middle, is likely to become the centre of attention for residents as well as tourists.
Performers will thrill spectators on the stage which has been set up within a special lake, that has been created inside the Hatta dam, to put up a display about the relationship between Emiratis and nature. Light shows and water projections will be accompanied by songs specially composed for the mega event, which will also be enjoyed by an invited audience online.
About 1400 workers from 100 countries came together to assemble the floating stage, which will be used as a platform for shedding light on Emirati history. An astronomical system in the Emirates that depends on zodiacal and climatic conditions, has inspired the show.
The system was crucial for people in the region to decide the accurate timings for planting crops and harvesting them.
A floating lake had to be constructed to act as a base for the stage, since the depth of the dam itself posed a challenge for the team.
