Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra, the daughter of the UAE Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is publicly expressing her appreciation for her father’s support. On early Wednesday, the Emirati Highness took to Instagram to share a sweet memory alongside her father, where the duo can be seen happily embracing each other in a warm hug.

The photograph was accompanied by a heartfelt caption, where Sheikha Mahra thanked her father for being the rock of her life. She wrote, “Dear Father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone. My respect and love, Mahra.”

This comes a month after Sheikha Mahra announced her shocking divorce on Instagram. In an explosive post, she appeared to be calling out her husband Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum’s alleged infidelity. “Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you. I divorce, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife,” wrote Princess Sheikha Mahra.

It didn’t take long for the Insta-divorce to garner a flurry of reactions on social media with many speculating the Emirati Highness was cheated on by her husband. Netizens in large numbers stood in support of Sheikha Mahra, lauding her brave decision which came only a couple of months after the royal couple welcomed their first daughter in May 2024.

Princess Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum tied the knot last year with a lavish wedding reception held on June 4th at Saeed Hall, Dubai World Trade Center.
