As per Khaleej Times, a total of sixteen skydivers started the first-ever Swoop Festival with spectacular stunts in Dubai. There were four obstacles including an arch, three balloon sets, and a landing pad.

However, this is one of the first times that an arch is used in a Swoop festival. The safety of the skydivers was of utmost importance with rescue teams ready at the water to pull out competitors as soon as they landed.

The professional skydivers from all over the world tried to navigate tricky obstacles and score points at the Swoop Festival.

The three-day canopy piloting event is the first of its kind in the region. The event originally began on December 28, 2022, with the first day of the event being the training day in front of Zero Gravity,

Canopy piloting is a high-speed discipline of skydiving. In this, experienced and trained pilots glide over a body of water while performing various stunts, controlling a small and powerful parachute.

The festival is free for spectators and is accessible through Zero Gravity which is next to Skydive Dubai. The event promises an action-packed and entertaining experience for residents and tourists.
