Mashable: “The Flying Man” has taken over Dubai!
Sam Rogers also known as the “Flying Man” took off at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) today.
On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, it was a sight to behold when the UK-based test pilot and design lead at Gravity Industries, Sam Rogers soared up high in his Gravity Jet Suit.
The “Flying Man” had a public demonstration in the Emirates on Wednesday of his world-famous Gravity Jet Suit as a part of the 3rd Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport.
Dubbed the future of individual mobility, the Gravity Jet Suit stunned many spectators at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The UK-based test pilot demonstrated the capacity of his self-made gravity suit at the parking area of Zabeel Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The official Instagram page of SDC Dubai shared a video of Sam Rogers giving the live “Flying Man Demo By Gravity” suited up in front of gathered participants of the congress. He showcased the cutting-edge technology and innovation that is “shaping the future of transportation and mobility solutions,” wrote the SDC on Instagram.
In the future-centric suit, Rogers is seen flying as high as 15 metres to demonstrate the capacity of his self-made gravity suit.
Meanwhile, the two-day event, the 3rd Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport started on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
