Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE's Minister of Economy, will host the world's first economic press conference in the Metaverse.
This week, Dubai will hold the world's first economic conference, the Investopia Investment Summit, in Metaverse.
According to a report, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE's Minister of Economy, will host the world's first economic press conference in the Metaverse, which will be held as part of the World Government Summit at Expo 2020 Dubai, and media representatives will be able to attend via augmented and virtual reality.
"It's great to see Investopia Summit taking place in the Metaverse and to host the first economic press conference in this virtual world. Because Investopia's vision is about future economies, launching the Summit in the Metaverse fits this context, enriching Investopia's discussions about global technological developments and their impact on economies and investments," said the UAE's Minister of Economy.
One of the UAE government's 'Projects of the 50,' announced in September 2021, is the Investopia Summit. As part of the Summit's inaugural event, a wide range of stakeholders, including academics and business leaders from around the world will gather to exchange ideas, create opportunities, and promote future investments around the world.
Over 30 international organizations are expected to attend the World Government Summit 2022, which will be held at Expo 2020 Dubai on March 29-30. More than 4,000 world leaders, government officials, and specialists are expected to attend this year's summit, which will feature 110 sessions and workshops hosted by more than 500 decision-makers and thought leaders from around the world.
