Time Out Dubai: It’s all about to kick off.
Dubai will have a huge fanzone for the 2026 FIFA World Cup
With this year’s World Cup being hosted stateside, the fanzone will host late-night matches and breakfast bashes in Dubai throughout this summer’s tournament.
McGettigan’s, one of Dubai’s most popular sports bars, will host its FIFA Fan Zone at Bla Bla by McGettigan’s in Dubai and at Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi.
No matter who you support, the fanzone will show your team’s game with all 104 matches of this year’s tournament set to be shown. Tickets for the group stage are on sale now and priced from Dhs60, with that figure fully redeemable on food and drinks.
McGettigan’s will serve as the home of the official England Supporters Club during this summer’s celebration of football, with a dedicated space for followers of the three lions.
Fans can expect large screens, live entertainment and brand activations on key match days, bringing together some of the city’s best performers to keep the energy high from kick-off to the final whistle.
Food and drinks will be tailored to match the rhythm of the tournament. There will be breakfast options for the early kick-offs and late-night bites for evening matches.
Dennis McGettigan, CEO of the Irish pub brand, said: “This is exactly what McGettigan’s is all about, bringing people together for the moments that matter.
“We wanted to create something that feels as close to being at the game as possible, showing every match, building the atmosphere, and giving fans a place to really be part of it.
“Whether it’s your first game of the day or the last one at night, there will always be something happening.”
McGettigan’s hosted a fanzone in Dubai as Lionel Messi’s Argentina reigned supreme at the Qatar FIFA World Cup in 2022.
