Mashabe: This was a way to figure out what the company needed and tell Elon Musk what was going on.
Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, has already started putting his mark on the company he wants to make private. He has asked for a meeting between Tesla engineers and Twitter's product managers in order to make his mark.
At Twitter HQ in San Francisco on Thursday morning, Twitter's product managers gave a presentation to Tesla's engineers on the company's coding structure. This was a way to figure out what the company needed and tell Elon Musk what was going on.

According to a report, sources close to the situation say that as of noon local time in San Francisco, Twitter engineers were unable to make any further changes to the code. The goal of this operation is to make sure nothing changes before the sale closes, so it is not public and the people reporting to Bloomberg cannot be identified. When the agreement was first announced in April 2022, Twitter implemented a similar freeze.
In an open letter to Twitter's advertisers on Thursday, a day before his $44 billion takeover of the company is set to be completed, Elon Musk tried to reassure them about the future of the site.

Despite his pledge to rethink its content filtering measures and promote "free speech," Musk said in a letter posted to Twitter that he doesn't want the platform to become a "free-for-all-hellscape where anything may be spoken with no consequences."
Musk has stated his intention to relax the platform's censorship policies, allowing users like former President Donald Trump and others who were banned for life due to repeated rule violations to rejoin the site. Concerns regarding the effect on Twitter's main ad sales business were expressed in light of the fact that some advertisers may be put off by the idea of having their sponsored tweets show next to content that some may find offensive.
