As the number of vaccinated people have been on the rise, flights have resumed. Unlike last year, the travel ban has been lifted across many countries. With that, Emirates airlines have now decided to reopen its First-Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Concourse B.
Almost closed for a year, the lounge now includes various biosafety protocols to protect premium customers who wish to use their services.
Earlier, only the Business Class Lounge, also located in Concourse B was open that serves First and Business Class customers as well as eligible members of their Skywards programme. However, the ones who do not meet the criteria above can still access the lounge for $300 (AED 1,102 approx.) and the members of the Emirates Skywards can access the lounge for a discounted price of $250 (Approximately AED 919).
Post the pandemic a lot of safety concerns have been floating amongst travellers; however, they can get back to enjoying refreshing shower spas that include towels, luxury toiletries and hairdryers as well as dedicated noiseless areas to help you relax while you wait for the next stage of your journey. The lounge has also been advanced to spacious seating in the dining, rest and social areas to help maintain social distancing norms.
With the gradual resurrecting of activities, Emirates has been opening at a phased programme where it reopened its prestigious ground services over the past year including complimentary Chauffeur drives in over 70 cities and other Emirates Lounge services in Cairo, Manchester, Milan, New York JFK and Los Angeles.
As for the dining experiences, Emirates is also offering a new menu that features over 55 dishes created by the chefs at Emirates Flight Catering. The lounge is open 24/7 offering all-day breakfast and lunch preferences to cater to customers travelling from all different time zones.
