Mashable: UAE leaders pens heartfelt tribute for women
Tributes came in from the royals, leaders, ministers, and top officials as the whole United Arab Emirates celebrates Emirati Women’s Day.
On Monday, August 28, 2023, the UAE rings in the celebrations of Emirati Women’s Day.
The leaders of the United Arab Emirates come together to celebrate the women of the country, paying rich tributes for their achievements.
The Mother of the Nation, Sheikha Fatima hailed Emirati women for helping to shape the history of the Gulf nation.
The Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak applaud Emirati women.
The Government of Abu Dhabi Media Office took to its official X account, formerly Twitter and shared a heartfelt note penned by Sheikha Fatima. Calling their efforts an “essential foundation,” she praised Emirati women.
The UAE leader, President Sheikh Mohamed also lauded the women of the Emirates on social media on this special day.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also posted a tribute to women. The Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai took to social media and shared a video.
The Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Sarah Al Amiri shared a video of Emirati women acing all spheres of life.
Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum also posted a stunning image.
