The founding chairman of Dubai’s Al-Habtoor Group founding chairman, a real estate agent, recently shared the first look at the upcoming world’s largest residential tower.

The group revealed the building on May 11, now known as the Habtoor Tower. It has 81 floors, a built-up area of about 327,000 square metres, and 1,701 housing units. The residential tower is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, near the banks of the Dubai Water Canal. It overlooks the Burj Khalifa in the Business Bay area and is situated closer to the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).

On May 14, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor took to Twitter to share a video showcasing not just the location of Al Habtoor Tower, but also its progress.

In his tweet, Al Habtoot wrote, “I love work, and I always follow the approach of ‘if any of you does a job, let him master it. 

“I am currently busy, with extreme focus and mastery, in implementing the ‘Al Habtoor Tower’ project, the largest residential tower in the world..which is truly a new icon added to the icons of the charming Dubai.

According to the chairman, the tower is scheduled to be ready to have residents within three years, which is considered to be a “record time.”
