Rest assured, your camels will be taken care of in the most hospitable manner, just like its name— ‘Rest Assured’, the world’s first camel hotel that was launched in Saudi Arabia recently.
The hotel named ‘Rest Assured’, offers dedicated services and grooming facilities for the camels during the sixth King Abdul Aziz Camel Festival.
Set up in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh, the hotel contains 120 rooms that provide five-star services including serving meals, hot milk, and taking care of camels’ appearances that will be needed for the camel festival.
The hotel has 50 staff that attend to camels in the unique hotel that offers room service, housekeeping, camel care and guarding to the popular animal, according to Saudi’s Camel Club.
The camel hotel was unveiled in a video that was posted by the Saudi Camel Club group on Sunday, welcoming ‘Tetaman’, which means ‘Rest Assured’.
“This hotel is the first of its kind in the world, but in a different and new style. Everything is available ranging from cleaning rooms to warm air-conditioning,” said Mohammed Al Harbi, spokesman for the Saudi Camel Club in a presentation video.
The hotel at present is charging around 400 Saudi riyals ($106.5) per night, wherein camel owners and club officials can stay comfortably with utmost comfort to their camels. However, camels are examined first before entering their rooms.
The hotel has come as a relief for many camel owners and participants who are taking part in the ongoing sixth edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, an annual event and the world’s biggest pageant.
The festival attracts more than 100,000 visitors a day from around the world and seeks to preserve the camel’s role in Saudi Arabia’s Bedouin tradition and heritage.
